I seem to have been on a bit of an unintential blogging break the past couple of months. I wish I could say it's been for one good reason or another but in all honesty life stuff, job stuff and tiredness just took over and once you get out of it...well, its hard to get back in.

I've been trying to think about what I've been up to the past couple of months in my spare time to keep you up to date, so let's have a think...
First we binged through Game of Thrones before it started again, then we finally got through Breaking Bad which I am totally ready to discuss now...guys? hey, guys, are you there? Then House of Cards season 3 has been a bit of a slow burner so we're just dipping in and out of that. So yeah, pretty much just TV for two months.

I think it's safe to say I have been feeling a little uninspired and lacking any kind of enthusiasm for anything non-TV related - and to be honest, it's been hard! I feel that I usually I have an idea or two floating about in my head for pictures/projects/craft stuff I'd like to do but its as though someone has flicked that switch off. It's kind of coming back on but definitely not quite there yet.

This weekend was the first weekend in a long time that I picked up my camera and took a few snaps and it felt gooooood. Hopefully this feeling will stick around for a bit.
That being said...I didn't get up to too much, we started Saturday with American style pancakes with British strawberries and then pottered around most of the day...

I started Sunday at the lovely Catherine's house for her birthday brunch, those scrambled eggs were delicious and it certainly set me up for the rest of the day...doing...errr...lots of TV watching (Better Call Saul FYI)

And just like that, the weekend is nearly over... hope you had a good one!

  1. Those pancakes look excellent! Taking some downtime from creativity and constantly being busy is always needed! x

  2. Delicious pancakes! So sad I couldn't see you guys yesterday, but really looking forward to the next meet-up we have. Definitely taking downtime from creativity and business is really important. Just spend time relaxing and re-charging and it will all come back soon enough. xx

    1. Aww you were missed! Definitely need to get a date in for the next one xx

  3. That sounds like my kind of weekend!!

Good luck finding your inspiration again : )

    Faded Windmills

  4. Such beautiful photos x

  5. I'm right there with you! My blogging mojo is totally absent at the moment. I'm barely even reading anything.... Maybe there's a blogging-ennui-bug going around? x

    1. There must be! I have no enthusiasm to do anything remotely worth while to feed my brain. Hope you get through it too x
